MooD drives Innovation in IT Service Management for Hewlett Packard and BP
As part of the rebid process, HP needed to show innovation, world class reporting and analytical abilities and selected MooD software. The deployment of an HP/BP Executive Dashboard, enables the HP BP Account Team to drive a joined up and streamlined approach to its delivery and on-going transformation of the BP IT environment.
Delivering scalable service performance
DBS was established in July 2011 by the Secretary of State for Defence to transform the delivery of corporate services to UK MOD by bringing together a set of executive agencies to serve the wider enterprise through a single service delivery organisation. The challenge faced by the DBS team is to improve service performance by up to 20%, whilst stabilising and sustaining service levels - and to do so against a 30% headcount reduction. Understanding and working causal relationships enables a planning process that is able to identify and investigate the options and trade-offs to meet projected supply and demand.

The culmination of a major piece of work undertaken by Niteworks - the primary MOD and Industry partnership - helped develop a strong, coherent view of the Army's equipment needs. The outcome of this work has provided the MOD's Land Environment with a consistent picture of its equipment priorities and issues, driving a major step forward in understanding that allows resources to be directed to the most difficult and urgent areas, and ensuring frontline soldiers receive the best possible equipment.

HP Secure Boardroom is the HP Information Security tool built by MooD International to enhance information security governance and reporting across organisations. A close partnership with HP Information Security has allowed us to operate within the complex and highly technical information security market. Secure Boardroom is an 'out of the box' solution which delivers relevant management information for complete security programme control to senior leaders. Further effort can be applied to this solution, to customise and enhance the software in order to meet any bespoke account specific requirements.

MoD - Countering the IED threat
In mid 2009, senior figures from the British military and from coalition countries along with MOD scientists and engineers gathered to discuss strategy and tactics in countering the improvised explosive device (IED) threat in Afghanistan. General Dannatt - then Chief of the General Staff - closed the conference by reiterating the importance of winning the war in Afghanistan and stressing that this also meant winning the war against the IED: "It is time for expenditure on counter IED to move from Urgent Operational Requirement to core business."

Two years on, not only do the business needs persist but also the challenges to deliver benefit under constraint have increased. Continuing to deliver the desired logistic effect to support the front line requires management and understanding of intricate and multifaceted processes surrounding the procurement, delivery, tracking and reverse logistics of millions of individual items.
