Faster decisions in army equipment planning
The culmination of a major piece of work undertaken by Niteworks - the primary MOD and Industry partnership - helped develop a strong, coherent view of the Army's equipment needs. The outcome of this work has provided the MOD's Land Environment with a consistent picture of its equipment priorities and issues, driving a major step forward in understanding that allows resources to be directed to the most difficult and urgent areas, and ensuring frontline soldiers receive the best possible equipment.

MoD delivers agility to the front line
In the Winter 2009 edition of Insight Magazine we looked at the complexities of the MOD's logistics process. Two years on, not only do the business needs persist but also the challenges to deliver benefit under constraint have increased. Continuing to deliver the desired logistic effect to support the front line requires management and understanding of intricate and multifaceted processes surrounding the procurement, delivery, tracking and reverse logistics of millions of individual items.
